Having Fun In Photoshop

I decided to have a play in photoshop the the other day, I wanted to brush up my skills so i read through a couple of tutorials I had saved on my delicious list of things to do. I have always enjoyed design, but with my job heavily focused on web development Its nice to have a change of focus.

I came accross this awesome tutorial and really liked the style. I wanted to achive the same effect but I didnt want to use illistator. So This is my own take. I hope to write a tutorial In the near future to show how you can do this, its not too tricky and the method can be applied to anything.
