Let&#039;s compare the two methods then:
&lt;strong&gt;CSS&lt;/strong&gt;: Simpler (lightweight, few lines of code, easy to understand), Does not need javascript
&lt;strong&gt;jQuery&lt;/strong&gt;: Works on IE6, Flexible for more complex cases
