Welcome to the odin version 4. I have been planning this for a  long time, but finally I managed to make room to sit down and start again. I am now running the entire site on wordpress as it has many advantages with plugins and statistics. You may notice my branding has also changed somewhat, as I wanted to give a more defined brand and feeling to the odin.

Before I set out in this journey I did a lot of research on what an online portfolio should be, and how to get the best return on this investment. Some of the sources I used included Elliot Jay Stocks book entitled Sexy Web Design as well as some marvelous online articles from smashing magazine and six revisions. I hope to follow this up with a couple of tutorials on wire framing designs and coming up with concepts over the coming weeks to give you more of an insight into how I came up with my final design.

If you like what I have done with the place, or think I could do better I would love to hear your thoughts!

One Response to My Redesign 2009

There is something about it that I like, I guess it is the use of space and width. It’s not my taste in many ways but there’s a quiet feeling to it. Very nice work.
